In a Colegio Mayor such as Moncloa, students receive a complementary education not only in the classroom, but also through the various aspects of college life and the activities that encompass such a life.

The activities which take place at Moncloa are directed primarily to orient the student toward good study and working habits, and cultivating an open university spirit full of culture, art, and science. Sporting and volunteering activities are also highly attended at Moncloal. And, of course, with the presence of Opus Dei, one can develop his Christian formation.

These iniciatives are in response to the different interests of the residents, who promote and oraganize them according to their interests, in cooperation with the Department of Fellows.

During the summer, many additional activities are organized and coordinated with other academic institutions, includings: courses, seminars, volunteering fieldwork in Spain and abroad, cultural visits and excursions, language courses, etc.
